Ben and Chris did our basement renovation (half of our basement)When we moved into our home (2000 sq ft bungalow with walk out in the basement), 800 square feet in the basement was finished the rest of the basement had drywall on the walls and that was it.I had them come in and look at the place and I gave them my idea for what I thought we were looking for. We then mapped it out and kicked around ideas and suggestions (such as how to place the walls and not impact the existing windows, how to place the drop ceiling to maximize headroom, etc).We then determined what they would do. If I wanted them to do something else it was no problem, they just told me how much more it would cost. Initially my wife and I were going to do all the painting, but then we decided to have them do all the painting which they did for us (which was great!)I found the workmanship to be of a very high quality and am extremely pleased with the results. The most important thing for me with a contractor is communication. They were first class, letting us know what the timetable was and they delivered on that. They kept a clean work area and cleaned up after themselves when they left, which also left us with a very good impression.I would definitely hire them again. We are currently looking at 2 potential projects over the next couple of years. One is a deck expansion and the other is the installation of a wine cellar and we were anticipating using them for both.I would hire them again, as they get back to you and communicate effectively. They complete the job as agreed to and within the specified time frame. I feel their price is reasonable. I wouldn't say the cheapest, nor the most expensive. But I would gladly pay a little more for a quality job that can be delivered on time.We have referred other people to them and they have been extremely pleased as well. Anybody who asks me, I would gladly refer to them. Ben is a perfectionist and very skilled as a carpenter and Chris is extremely organized and communicates with clients extremely well.Kevin
"Outstanding to work with! If I knew it was going to be this easy and painless to get my addition done, I would have done it years ago. Thanks guys!!" (Addition)Adam
